Selamat malam!
This "morning" we woke up at 3 a.m to get ready for our morning flight. We took a quick shower, got dressed, did a final check and headed to the airport. Even on this time, it was very busy at the airport. I think Jakarta is just one of these cities that just never sleeps.
We checked in and said our final goodbyes to my family (who I am really really really thankful for btw).
After a strong Café Americano at Starbucks we boarded the plane and settled ourselves for a long 8 hour flight to Dubai.
Once we arrived in Dubai we checked in in our hotel and chilled a little before we went down to eat and shop a little bit. After all, the day went by quite quickly.
I'm going to sleep right now because we'll have to get up at 6 a.m tomorrow to catch our flight back home!
As I'm writing this blog from my hotelroom in Dubai, I realise that this is already my last blog about my stay in Indonesia. It have been 3 beautiful weeks I've spend on that island Java where my roots (partly) lay. Java with the great food, friendly people and beautiful weather; you've been amazing.
