We're already in Indonesia for a few days here and I just couldn't find any time to write for this blog. And eventhough this is only our second day here, we've had done a lot!
The trip itself took really long: a 7 hour flight to Holland to Dubai with a stop of 4 hours and another 8.5 hour flight to Jakarta. It was okay though. We had nice seats with a lot of space for our legs and good food.
Once we arrived in Jakarta we were welcomed by my family and brought home. Monday was a relaxing day, but we had to get up at 2 a.m. that night to catch our next flight to Yogyakarta.
In Yogyakarta we went to the hotel to check in and immediatly after that we went to Borobodur to visit the Buddhist tempels. This was really impressive and when we went to the top to enjoy the amazing view we we're already in the car driving to our next destination: The Merapi volcano which we drove up a really bumpy path with a jeep. This was really cool and impressive to see.
Tomorrow is already fully planned so I'm going to sleep soon.
I'm only going to do the internship the last week, so I won't blog that much before that time because of the planning.
Love,
Elysa

Tante Jamina:
Dearest Elysa,
I'm so proud of you. Wishing I'm also there. But in Dutch the say: je hebt luxe paarden (you) en je hebt werkpaarden (poor me).
Enjoy your staying there and being with your family.
Kiss,
Jamina
